Assistant Manager Payroll / HRSS Operations - Telenor - Islamabad

As an Assistant Manager Payroll & HRSS Operations, we empower you to support us in the effective and efficient execution of our people strategy. You will be enabling people leaders, managers and employees by leading and managing a team with key focus on developing and delivering efficient and innovative services, solutions, analysis and reports to support organization changing business needs.

Degree(s)/Major(s):     Bachelor's degree/Preferably Masters in Human Resource Management
Experience Required:     Relevant experience in various HR roles - preferably have background in HR Shared Services, HR Operations, Payroll and Compensation and Benefits.
Good experience, knowledge and understanding in designing, development and implementation of different payroll and HR tools/systems.
Basic knowledge and understanding of local employment legislation, laws and tax regulations.
Good data analysis experience and expertise.
Proficient in different HRIS & IT tools (including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Oracle, SQL, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:   
Lead and manage team to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities as per required expectations and standards.
Responsible for continuous improvement in HR operations. Identify opportunities for improvement, proposed and implement appropriate solutions where required.
Proactively seeks to establish a positive relationship with all key stakeholders and provide efficient and effective support to organization on all HR operational needs and requirements.
Ensure that all employee record is fully maintained and stored in a most efficient, accurate and secure way without compromising its integrity and quality.
Ensure administration, access, security and control of available HR systems/tools. Introduce all necessary security measures to ensure that available systems are secure from data loss or misuse.
Actively participate and contribute in the designing, development and implementation of payroll and other HR tools/system as per need and requirements.
Responsible for the execution of employee advancements, annual increment and variable pay life cycle in coordination with all key stakeholders.
Responsible for compiling and finalization of relevant data, information and reports required for smooth and timely processing of monthly payroll.
Effectively coordinate with EOBI, social security, labour and other government officials to ensure compliance with required government regulations.
Ensure all necessary policies and procedures are implemented and followed to meet all local/group governance, internal controls and compliance requirements.
Contribute and support in providing timely data and information required for different analysis, reports, dashboards, benchmarking and compensation surveys.
Closely work with reporting team in preparing different strategic analysis, reports and dashboards that can be used to make effective and strategic decisions as per changing business needs.
Plan and drive initiatives for consolidation, centralization and integration of all employee data and information.
