Position: Education Advisor (RefCode EA101)
Location: Islamabad
The Education Advisor will have overall responsibility tor Save the Children's education program m Pakistan. The Education Advisor will be based in Islamabad and will be a member ol the Pakistan Country Office Senior Management Team
Two key tasks tor the Education Advisor will be to develop close working relationships with (he Federal Ministry ot Education and the Provincial Departments of Education, with key donors, and to design and secure funding tor neweducalion programs to be implemented by Save the Children in Pakistan. Background and Experience
o Masters Degree or Higher in Education or relevant field o 5-8 year's experience developing and managing education programs . o Experience writing and reviewing proposals and developing budgets • Experience in budget tracking, monitoring and evaluation of programming o Strong oral and written English language and computer skills required o interpersonal, representational and communication skiNs aie essential, and a participatory, team-oriented work style
o Willingness to travel regularly, and on occasion for extended periods, to SC sub-otfices ana program implementation areas Save the Children is an equal opportunity employer.
