Group Head Islamic Banking (EVP) - Peshawar

The Bank of Khyber, which is vanguard of progress and development in North West Frontier Province, with a vision of becoming the premier Islamic Bank in Pakistan is seeking experienced and dynamic banking professionals, having caliber and desire to lead the Bank to the next level. We are inviting application on behalf of the Bank from senior banking professionals to apply for the following positions:

Group Head Islamic Banking (EVP) Peshawar
Responsible for the development and management of Islamic Banking functions, which include managing of day-to-day operational management of new Islamic Banking venture, developing of the business and client relationships and setting up and maintenance of systems and processes.

Positions Requirements:
MBA/M.Com/MA Economics or equivalent from HEC recognized institutions.
Candidates with additional Degree/Diploma in Shariah & Law, Islamic Banking & Finance and DAIBP will be given preference
10 years of diversified banking experience, including 3 years as the Regional or Departmental Head. Candidates having hands-on Islamic Banking experience will be given preference
Working knowledge of Islamic Banking and Shariah compliant products
The above positions are reporting directly to the Managing Director/CEO of the Bank. Standard competency requirements for the above positions also include the following:

Personal Qualities: Ability to demonstrate effective leadership, ability work well as apart of a team, capability to make difficult decisions, ability to work under pressure, strong work ethics and high on integrity, self motivated and responsible
Key skills: Excellent numerical and analytical skills, good interpersonal and communications skills, project and time management skills, IT proficiency, good planning and organizing skills
