Chief Financial Officer & Divisional Head Human Resource - Peshawar

The Bank of Khyber, which is vanguard of progress and development in North West Frontier Province, with a vision of becoming the premier Islamic Bank in Pakistan is seeking experienced and dynamic banking professionals, having caliber and desire to lead the Bank to the next level. We are inviting application on behalf of the Bank from senior banking professionals to apply for the following positions:


Chief Financial Officer (SVP) Peshawar
Responsible for the development and maintenance of necessary financial controls, policies and procedures. Also to manage all activities of finance and accounts functions, including the secretarial and taxation matters.

Position Requirements:
A Qualified Chartered Accountant or a Qualified ACCA
5-10 years post qualification experience with at least 3 years at a comparable or senior position in the finance department, of a bank or a financial institution or a public listed company
Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and other related pronouncements
Sound knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements, including code of corporate governance, State Bank of Pakistan regulations, etc.
Sound understanding of local corporate, taxation and other laws.
Division Head Human Resources (EVP) Peshawar

Responsible for the development and implementation of HR policies, processes and procedures inline with the best practices and with a focus on business issues pertinent to talent management, risk management and HR operations management.

Positions Requirements:
Preferably an MBA/MPA in HR. Law Graduates and Master’s degree holder from HEC recognized institutions and having the relevant HR experience are also eligible
10 years of HR generalist experience including 3 years at the similar position, preferably in a bank
Sound knowledge of latest HR concepts and industry best practices.
Working knowledge of Pakistani labor laws.
The above positions are reporting directly to the Managing Director/CEO of the Bank. Standard competency requirements for the above positions also include the following:

Personal Qualities: Ability to demonstrate effective leadership, ability work well as apart of a team, capability to make difficult decisions, ability to work under pressure, strong work ethics and high on integrity, self motivated and responsible
Key skills: Excellent numerical and analytical skills, good interpersonal and communications skills, project and time management skills, IT proficiency, good planning and organizing skills
