DFIC has a ten years development partnership Arrangement with the Government of Pakistan which sets out a shared resolve to reduce poverty, tackle corruption and respect human rights. Pakistan is one of the UK’s top foreign policy priorities and we work very closely with other government departments in the British high commission.
Qualification, Experiences, Skills and Knowledge Required
Experience of Programme management in Pakistan, in-depth understanding of knowledge areas of Programme management cycle, working with the government of Pakistan (both federal and provincial levels) and donors and ability to apply this knowledge to DFID supported programmes is critical.
Strong experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary project team is required, as experience of developing and working to logical frameworks and of broader project cycle management. Candidates should demonstrate strong verbal and written English skills.
A post-graduate degree in management sciences or any social science discipline or equivalent. And at least 3 years’ experience of working at mid management level in Pakistan is required.
