The Organization: Riphah International University is the forefront in research education amongst the private universities of Pakistan. Since its conception in 1995, its founding members aspired to provide state of the art educational. Institutions with focus on including Islamic ethical values.
The university has seven faculties offering more than 40 under graduate, post graduate and doctoral programs in the field of Health and Medical Sciences, basic Sciences, Media Sciences, Rehabilitation. Sciences, Management Sciences, Computing and Islamic Business & Finance. University has its offshore venture (Rak College of Dental Sciences) at Ras Alkhaimah, UAE, offering BDS degree duly accredited by Ministry of Higher Education and scientific Research, Abu Dhabi-UAE.
The university has affiliation with the renowned national and international institutions which include university of Bedfordshire UK, International Medical University Malaysia, Queen Mary University of London UK, University of Illinois USA and a strategic linkage with the Northern Consortium of UK (NCUK) which is owned by eleven UK universities.
The RIU has been making concerted efforts to broaden the base of its research and development activities through collaboration with national and international organization/institutions of repute.

Currently we are in the quest for strengthening our existing faculty by filling the position of Dean RARE (Riphah Academy of research Education).
RARE is one of the important institutions of the university playing role for quality assurance in research and education in with the global standards; oversee research and development activities for faculty. Impart knowledge including practical skills, methods and techniques.
Develop the quality assurance framework of RIU, Including the validation and revalidation of courses, and student admission and assessment, encourage the development of innovative approaches to course design/delivery and ensure that teaching design and delivery company with the quality and educational standards and regulations of the department and explore opportunities with international institutions of repute.

The Role: Reporting directly to Vice, Chancellor, Dean RARE will be expected to use out of box thinking, foster debate and develop the ability of faculty to engage in critical discourse and rational thinking, write or contribute to publications or disseminate research findings using other appropriate media, seek practical application of research findings.
The position requires extensive international travel and interaction with world leaders in Medical education. He must have ability to manage, enhance and augment relationships with national and international bodies one of the major responsibilities is to provide lead role to conduct international Conference on Medical Education (ICME).
The Person: To qualify for this particular job profile, you must possess a PhD (Preferably with basic degree in the field of medical and health sciences). A degree in Education would be a definite plus. You must have at least 14 years teaching experience in institutions of international repute and recognition. We expect you to be an excellent team player, an academic leader with outstanding communication, interpersonal and analytical skills: strong networking and mentoring abilities.
