Database Administrator
The Job:
Create and maintain database in popular RDBMS platforms such as Oracle and MS SQL Server.
Maintain day-to-day operations of the production and test databases.
Analyze and sustain capacity and performance tune databases.
Implement, configure and troubleshoot database instances, clustering, mirroring replication, backup, partitions, storage and user access.
Plan, coordinate and implement security measures and maintain data standards to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
Provide database support in internal development team.
Configure and maintain RDBMS on Unix, Linux and Windows Platforms.
Write and maintain database documentation.

The Candidate
Preferably Masters in IT/CS from a reputed HEC recognized institution. Additional qualification in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Possess demonstrated experience of participation in business process modeling and reengineering.
Proven track record of implementing and supporting moderate to large-scale deployments of Oracle EBS in general and Oracle HRMS product in particular.
Commitment to work through complex problems and to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy and a strong customer satisfaction focus.
Should be able to handle teams of 3-4 resources.
Strong analytical presentation and communication & customer service skills.
Willing to travel across country as and when required in carrying out various business assignments.
Preferably be less than 35 years of age.
