Senior Operations Manager
An Independent Power Producer (IPP), which owners and operates one of the largest gas fired combined cycle power project in Balochistan, seeks applications from dynamic & self-motivated professionals, who are target driven, are able to transform strategic business goals into action plans and have good communication & Interpersonal skills. The required qualification, experience and skills are depicted below for each vacancy:

Responsible for:
Lead the Operations team to achieve the actual operational and HSE targets;
Assist the plant Manager to develop the Annual Operating/ Business plan and manage the planned O&M budget;
Carryout regular plant performance reviews;
Manage all technical and operational aspects of the Power Purchase and Fuel Supply Agreement(s);
Manage and execute the Annual Dependable Capacity test in coordination with the off-taker;
Ensure periodic review/update and compliance to the plant operational procedures;
Provide clear and practical safety rules, ensuring all employees and contractors in the process of operating and maintaining the plant;
Assist Plant Manager to develop a clear and effective Personnel Performance Monitoring System;
Implement and monitor the Environmental Procedures to an International Standard; and
Serve as a backup to Plant Manager in his absence.
Education & Experience

B.E & Minimum 15-20 years of related experience in CCGT power plant operations. Knowledge of GE equipment would be an added advantage.

Technical Knowledge; CCGT Plant Operations & Process understating; Project Management skills; Commercial Know-How; Decision Making; Business Plan/ Budget Management; Facility Management Skills; Power Plant Maintenance & Process Understanding; and Understanding of Project Agreements (PPA; GSA and LTSA).
