Dawood Islamic Bank Limited (DIBL) is a fast growing Islamic bank sponsored by renowned local and Middle Eastern groups. The bank is rapidly expanding its branch network, portfolio of Shariah complaint products and customers-base. As part of its rapid expansion plan, DIBL seek to invite experienced bankers for its Internal Audit Divisions.

The Managers Internal Audit shall report to the Head of Internal Audit Division. Their primary role shall be participating in the routing internal audit of branches and departments to confirm that the routine practices of banking remain in line with the documented policies and procedures. The Officers Internal Audit shall assist their manager in routine affairs, practices, documentation and report compiling.

All the staff of compliance and internal audit divisions shall have to travel countrywide occasionally, as part of the DIBL’s business requirements.

Resumes are invited from experienced bankers seeking a career in Islamic banking in the Audit Division of the bank in Karachi and Lahore. The ideal candidates for Managers’ positions shall be bankers with 5-8 years of experience in the areas of operations, compliance and internal audit in a computer based environment. For Officers, the ideal candidates shall be bankers with 1-3 years experience in the relevant disciplines.

Minimum qualification for all posts is a Bachelors’ degree. Further, candidates should posses excellent oral and writing skills in English, analytical skills potential to grow in a challenging work environment, Knowledge of SBP’s regulations and applicable statutory laws is compulsory.
