Immediately Requires Oracle DBA - Karachi

Our client is immediately requires Oracle DBA for its Karachi offices. The candidate should possess:

Mandatory Skills:
• Oracle DBA Specialist -
• At least Oracle DBA - 2 of years experience as Oracle DBA
• Database support experience
• Working Experience in Corporate Environment
• Experience in upgrading database
• Database Performance tuning , Code Optimization
• OEM Monitoring
• Operating Environment - HP-UX , Sun/Solaris & WinXP
• Understanding and knowledge of ClearQuest, SQL Navigator
• Having experience with the use of CASE tools for physical data modeling is required.
• Experience with the Erwin tools a plus.

Other Pre-requisites:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer science or equivalent qualification / University Degree
• With above 4 years relevant hands on experience in SQL Server Database administration and Oracle Administration.
• SQL Server skills principally in the areas – 2000 and 2005
• Oracle DBA skills principally in the areas
:- Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g

• Oracle Performance Manager (Monitoring Resource consumption)

• Strong knowledge on data modeling using Erwin tools
• Understanding database design and object creation.
• Test and Prod Migrations
• User Requested Performance Tuning
• MV Log Check, Alert Log Check
• Running DB Scripts to perform various DB Cleaning and Monitoring Operations
• Database refresh
• Demonstrated proficiency in all techniques of database schema creation and maintenance.
• Creation and Maintenance of Oracle Objects
• Email responses , status meeting , user meeting
• The incumbent should be proficient in established project management and information management
• DB Account creation, modification, deletion
• DB Monitoring, troubleshooting, Remediation
• Oracle DBA (Oracle Installation , Database Creation , Database Migration , Upgrades /
